The welded pressure tested MS tanks are used to house the assembly. Technically suitable stiffeners are prodded for robust construction. Pressed steel fins cooling radiators are provided to maintain the temperature rise as per is specifications. The sand blasted tanks are painted with two coats of oil & heat resistant paint inside while outer surface is painted with zinc oxide based primer and two coasts of synthetic enamel paint. The finished transformer is again pressure tested complete filled with oil, at 0.8 kg., cm'.
